Christmas Tree Contest
A $5 entry fee entitles you to enter as 1.)Business/Church/Civic Group or 2.) Individual/family. You may have more than one entry with a $5 fee for each entry.
You then choose a category of TRADITIONAL or WHIMSICAL/CONTEMPORY.
Your tree can be real or artificial, but must have lights.
Trees will be set-up on Nov. 28-30, but no later than Dec.5th in the Arts Council Bldg on Water St. across from the Wildlife Museum for display beginning on Dec.1st . Call 793-6143 or 809-2294 for building access.
Judging will take place on Thursday, Dec. 8th in conjunction with the Plymouth Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade and Christmas Marketplace at the Maritime Museum. Tree viewing on Dec. 8th will be between 11am - 1pm & 6pm -8pm.
Prizes from local merchants will be awarded ad a “People’s Choice Award voted on by spectators will be presented. Sponsored by the Plymouth Downtown Development Association.
Christmas Parade
We extend an invitation to you and/or your organization to join us for our annual Christmas Parade. Line up will begin on Thursday Dec.8th at 4pm at Plymouth High School on Main St.
If you would like to participate by entering a float, contact Stephanie Simpson at Town Hall 124 E. Water St, Plymouth, NC 27962 for entry forms, which must be returned by Friday Dec.2, 2016. Questions can be directed to Stephanie at 252-793-4680 ext. 221 Fax 252-793-1524.
Christmas Marketplace
Please join us for our annual Christmas Marketplace from 4 until 8pm on Dec.8th, at the Maritime Museum. You will find many vendors selling their ‘handcrafted products’,’ baked goods’ and many other goodies. We still have some vendor spaces available at $15 per space.
